Mellow Mushroom - Hilton Head Island

We absolutely love pizza! The crust is always amazing, especially the edges! They use Follow Your Heart brand cheese, which is simply the best! They also offer options to add tofu and tempeh with a variety of sauces and marinades. Everything was super tasty, and the service was excellent! Our waiter was incredibly helpful! We ordered the veggie pizza with BBQ tempeh and vegan cheese, as well as the bruschetta with vegan cheese.

On October 29, we visited Mellow Mushroom with some friends. The atmosphere was fantastic, our server was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. I ordered the vegan vegetarian pizza, which I loved so much that I returned about half an hour later to pick up my daughter, who had lost her shoe, and a friend who had misplaced her mask. The very accommodating waitress patiently waited for me, and the food came out quickly.

We ordered several types of pizza, but I personally tried the vegan Vese. Given the price, I felt it was a bit overpriced. The vegan and vegetarian pizzas had some added seasoning, and everyone commented that the crust needed to be a bit crispier. It was quite flexible but not overly soft. Overall, it was nice to have a vegan option for a larger group, but I didn't feel it was worth the price. I hope to try other dishes in the future because they offer a good variety of vegan options. Ordered online and they had a whole vegan menu section. ordered the vegan veg-out pizza and vegan tempeh cooking, each as they come without adjustment. both were very good, hoagie was the highlight, absolutely delicious. will definitely come back, great place for a group as they have many vegan and non-vegan options

Best place in town!!!! Got tempeh pizza with vegan cheese and was in love!!!! Cutest hippie place ever!!
