What User doesn't like about Marley's Island Grille:
Avoid this restaurant at all costs! They violate the American's with Disabilities Act. They can't seat people with wheelchairs like many of our disabled veterans. They made our family wait three hours and THEN they told us we couldn't be seated because we had people in wheelchairs. View all feedback.

The employees (in particular the manager) were inexcusably rude. I have never been treated so poorly by restaurant staff. We would NOT recommend this place to any Hilton Head visitor.
Anything that they do with shrimp here is excellent. I had some bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer that was superb. Mussels were also very good. The prices are typically high for this type of theme seafood restaurant. I always feel a little reamed at these places, you know? Like I'm paying for the nets and the shells on the wall rather than the food on my plate. But as long as the seafood is fresh and well prepared, I can live with it. And Marley's delivers on both counts.
We had a fabulous dinner at Marley's! Our waiter, who was extremely kind and helpful, made several very good suggestions that we really enjoyed including the sangria which was the best we've ever had. Our food was also excellent and in good portions not overwhelming. I must say however, that when we arrived the two hostesses on duty were rude and acted as though they were doing us a favor by letting us come through the door. Not a great first impression. We were there Saturday, February 18th and they were not busy at all.
We called ahead using the ;Priority ; seating. This is supposed to cut your time in half. Absolutely did not in actuality it made it longer. Otherwise, my family and I enjoyed the atmosphere and food. If you aren 't looking for the WOW factor for food it will suffice. Great place for the price. Bon Appetite!
