Good food. We came at brunch and there was a limited menu. Lobster roll was good but for the price needed more meat. Wait staff very friendly. We were seated promptly but we did have to wait over 40 minutes for our meal. Eggs Benedict was good. We met some nice people, seating is very cozy. View all feedback.
What Jon Starr doesn't like about Lulu Kitchen:
Walked in to a hostess that looked less than happy to be there. Was asked if I had a reservation to which I replied “no, I’m assuming one is required?” She laughed and said “we’re booked inside if you want to sit outside.” Looked outside to see one free half booth for 4 people. Key word “half booth.” Get a staff that can turn people down without pissing them off. View all feedback.
The seafood salad appetizer lacked flavor, but the fried chicken breast with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and cornbread was delightful. I savored every bite on my plate. The ambiance is pleasant, and the service is friendly, although the prices are on the higher side.
The owners Scott Jennifer Hastings are not honest people. They don’t pay their hard working employees on time and they short their pay. How PATHETIC!
This is a little gem we just discovered on this trip to HHI and a place we will definitely return. The service was attentive but not intrusive, the signature cocktails varied and great, and the menu offerings and food were outstanding. I had pear Gorgonzola salad to start and lobster ravioli and hubby had the beet salad and halibut. The salads were fresh, beautifully presented and the entrees were amazing. Raspberry white chocolate cheesecake topped the meal off and we left thoroughly impressed with the quality, presentation, and preparation and obviously extremely full as the portions are very generous. Lulu's will become another go to for us when we visit!

Enjoyed this restaurant. I would make a reservation. My food was delicious and I had the pear and gorgonzola salad and crab cake. So yummy!
