It wasn't very crowded for a Friday night, but then again, it was January. The service was excellent, and both the food and drinks were enjoyable. I had the Happy Burger, which was delicious. My companion ordered the scallops and shrimp; she said they were good, but hinted that she would have preferred the pork instead. The desserts were also tasty. Max was our server and he was fantastic—super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. We would definitely recommend asking for him again! The food was also excellent.
We went New Years Day. Fabulous fried chicken with hot honey, Hoppin’ John, and collards. 5 of 5 all around!
New Years Day Brunch…absolutely fabulous! **** Mary’s were delicious and the special fried chicken dinner outstanding! Wonderful pianist as well!
