Nice venue. Food was very good. Salmon and BBQ were both very good. While service was very friendly it was very average. It was somewhat surprising that they were out of three beers which appeared on their beer menu. View all feedback.
What Tanya Howe doesn't like about Fraser's Tavern:
The noise level is deafening! If there is a party in the party room, one cannot hear anyone else in the entire place.....at the bar or wherever. Has been like this for sometime. Food is good, but not worth the time or trouble. Fix the acoustics, Please !!! View all feedback.
The restaurant has made improvements since the Covid era. However, there is still room for further enhancement. An improved menu would be beneficial. The service is good and the management is moving in the right direction.
It feels strange to write a review considering I couldn't actually eat here, but here we are. I made a reservation online for an early 5:15 dinner, which was a simple process. We arrived a few minutes early and were told our table (outside) wasn't ready yet. We were fine with waiting. After being seated, we were given menus and then waited. Our server (I assume, since I never actually met him) spoke to the table next to us but never acknowledged us. After about 15-20 minutes without any service, my dining partner went to find someone to let them know our situation. The host apologized and said she would send the server. Ten minutes later, the server finally appeared and asked the table next to us how everything was, completely ignoring us. At this point, after 30 minutes of being ignored and without even a glass of water, we decided to leave. The views of the golf course were nice, but we were unable to enjoy them due to the lack of service.
We attended the golf club pub for dinner. Both myself and my spouse ordered the half ribs. This facility is known for their outdoor smoker. However their ribs were overdone, bone dry and not very meaty. Not sure why the kitchen would let th0is food out. We have not been there for 2 years due to the pandemic and will not be going back. Not sure if the pub has gone thru an ownership change resulting in the quality of food going down hill. Not an excuse as prices are pricey.
She was so fun the whole night it was like she was my best friend. Alyssa was always checking on us and we didn’t wait for anything. Alyssa was absolutely the best waitress I’ve ever had.
