Wow, what a find, my husband and I were looking for early bird specials and tripped upon this quaint hideaway. From the outside it looks like a pretty normal store front type place but once inside it is romantic lighting and gorgeous glittering chandeliers. I was Mezmerized by the ambiance. Let’s get to the food, the early dinner specials were $10.95 and included your entree and soup or salad. We both got the potato... View all feedback.
What Nicole Herzog doesn't like about Brick Oven Cafe:
We ate here on vacation and both our pizzas were raw in the middle. The cheese was not fully cooked and the dough fell apart when we picked up a slice. I was expecting a better pizza because of the name. It was by far the worst pizza we've eaten. View all feedback.
Wow, we when here 2 years back and had a great time. Then went in June 2010, and I have to say this place must be under new ownership? The food was awful and the menu was very limited. The music was to loud for dining. I felt like I was in a night club screaming across the table at my wife. They didn't have much available on the menu and it was rather hot in the place.
You can get a great meal for a VERY reasonable price and have a great atmosphere. You can wear jeans and hang out at the bar with Phil (very friendly bartender) or you can get all dressed up and have a romantic evening with your significant other. I love the menu variety from tapas style, to pizza to full blown gourmet entrees. You must go!!!
When they are on in the kitchen, some of the dishes will be the best you have had, possibly ever. The calamari melted in the mouth and immediately defeated all previous dishes of this type in which the calamari are rubbery and chewy. The accompanying vegetables were fresh and seemed nutritious. The beef was full of flavor, a defining difference between a good restaurant cut and many types one finds in the supermarket. This is a perfectly nice to eat without spending a large amount of money. Look for specials.
This little restaurant has some of the best food I have ever eaten. The menu is extensive and very varied. They deliver consistant and fast service all the time.
The scallops were bad. The dish was not edible. The waitress never did get the bills correct for our group members. Then one of the bills was mistakenly changed to add $20 to the original total. I had enjoyed dining there other years, but this experience has completely turned me off.
