This steakhouse and bar is across the road from the marina in Hilton Beach on this quaint island. The food is good and the best spot to eat is out on the deck overlooking the marina! This place is open year round but gets busy during the summer when all the cottagers arrive!Cindy, the owner is kind and helpful and has the best Caesars ever!My kids like to play in the park next door while waiting for their food and it is easily visible from the deck.

The food is always fresh and tasty. Even during busy days, the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your experience a positive one. The homemade fries are awesome. Highly recommended if you are on the island.

OK, from England, I was stunned by the views, the single road and isolation. Somewhere I may have seen on a survival documentary, the food then is not sophisticated, nor is the place particularly clean.....that said, I don't think anywhere I stayed was spotless.The toilets are clean, the doors, sinks, carpets, floors are quite dirty, for me, the question stands with the food handling?I could call it a real country experience, the food was ok, I had a beer that was ok, but you know, if I were in a position to move in, for the same money I would have the staff smile, the food presented well and I would be making sure people would come back, not because it is the only wooden hut with food, but the only wooden hut WITH MEMORABLE FOOD AND SERVICE....Without competition or new blood that won't happen."Mornin' Zeek, Mornin' Marg, same, yep, eggs n toast, yup, easy over as always, yup." Being a newcomer to the island, its nice to go somewhere close to have a cold beer and awesome wings (forty creek). the view in the summer time is spectacular. yes at times the service is slower but to be expected when its busy. on the occasion that we have gone and there is a long wait time we were always advised of how long it might take. cheers

We have been to the Tilt'n Hilton several times over the past year and always have a good time. It's a great place to bring kids and the fish and chips are excellent, as well as the variety of appetizers. In summer it is especially nice as you look over the lovely water and watch the boats go by. After the meal we always take the grandchildren down the steps to a small playground while their parents enjoy a leisurely drink. Really looking forward to going back this summer again.
