Ling's Chop Suey House - Hilo

It wasn't very impressed. Portions aren't that big. The food was average. Place is not super clean. Staff were very friendly.

The egg foo yung was decent. However, after my 3rd time at Lings I won't be going back. The lemon chicken was not edible. It was hard on the outside and chewy on the inside. Was like eating leather. The fried rice was only half as bad but still bad.

Horrible customer service. Absolutely depreciating to the entire restaurant as a whole. Both of those ladies need to go. They are rude. They are entitled. They are catty. Nobody likes people like that in the service industry or anywhere period. I really hope one day I can actually enjoy this restaurant.

7/1/22 They forgot my orange chicken and charged me for that on a Friday family dinner night. 7/2/22 4pm I called to get a refund on the order you forgot , however, the girl who answered the phone said she couldn't do the refund herself. She's got my info to call me back when the owner comes to work. I haven't still heard from you.,,,

Oh my god.. The guy who took my order was extremely rude. He didn’t even say “hello”, “goodbye”, or even “thank you” to me, as soon as I finished ordering he just hung up. I ordered my food in separate plates and received almost everything in the same plate. The cake noodles were dryer than an old lady’s foot, literally no sauce. Found somebody’s hair in the oyster chicken, and I know it wasn’t anyone of my family’s because the hair was blonde-ish, wavy, and too short, and we’re the complete opposite. I am disgusted.
