A short Uber ride from our airport hotel at Newark we stumbled upon Comet Pizza. A stupendous place for a pie. Awesome pie, awesome people, definitely try the mozzarella log, absolutely to die for, all of it! Super friendly owners, give you that at home eating in your own kitchen feel. I'm tempted to make a special trip back to Newark just to have another comet pizza pie. My kind of place. Service: Dine in View all feedback.

First time ordering shrimp scampi and pasta. Wouldn't recommend the scampi, too much sauce, the shrimp was over cooked and flavorless. But the rest of our order was fine. View all feedback.
Comet has opened again with new owners. Pizza was very similar to earlier. This is a classic pizza that always meets the place. They also have garlic that they have not yet, and I look forward to trying them next time. Service was polite and friendly. I added a picture of their current menu from June 2022... Not sure if it changes.
Got hungry from the plane in Newark, as Huck Comet Pizza HIT THE SPOT! I have learned that this business has been closed for the last two years and has recently been reopened and the only thing I can say is support this business! I got the first cheese pizza from the oven of the day it was about 11:30 when I got in. The woman behind the counter was so friendly! Pizza was immaculate (I didn't get any photos because I was so hungry, but take my word for it) Fly to Newark frequently and I'm going back!
I moved north of New Jersey I was looking for something GOOD pizza and nothing beats COMET. It's my brothers and my favorite pizza spot in New Jersey. Not a beautiful place, but EVERYTHING you from here get it delicious. I love her cheese steak sandwich, mozzarella sticks (they are huge) and the pizza. They use the most amazing sauce cheese in their pizza. The owners are the most friendly people of all time. Only bad is they don't deliver CASH ONLY, but I promise you after you try the pizza, it's all worth it
Pizza was good. I loved the crust and the workers were very friendly and nice.
This place has been around for decades. best pizza in town, . my go to is the onion pie.
