Contribute Feedback What Jeremy Smith likes about Tacos Los Altos:
Impromptu stop that was going to simply be a turnaround because nothing else on the strip from the freeway to there looked appetizing. Surprisingly good. Wife really enjoyed her carne asada tacos, though the sliced radishes on the side were odd/unexpected. My burrito bowl wasn't inline with the Chipotle version I had in my head, but it was quite tasty and probably more authentic. Parking: Gravel lot that's part of a... View all feedback.
What Liz Gray doesn't like about Tacos Los Altos:
I've enjoyed Tacos Los Altos in the past, but I have noticed it can be a bit on the salty side. I personally love salt, so that really says something. However, during my last delivery, the arroz con pollo (I can't recall their name for it) was so salty that it was inedible. I'm really disappointed. View all feedback.
I'm Mexican so I don't really go to Mexican food restaurants since it's usually Americanized. This place is actually really good and authentic.
OK, but not the best taco salad I have ever been served. It is large and the taco itself was good and crisp too. However, even though it was filled with chicken and beans it was also filled with a lot of torn lettuce which didn't meet my tastes. There were both sour cream and guac toppings. I would have liked to see tomato, corn, onion, and some flavorful dressing. Parking on the street was easy.
My main food was okay but the chips were very burnt
I came back for the breakfast. I drove 35 minutes to get this breakfast. I was thinking about it all week and I literally had a dream about pancakes last night and I'm a waffle or French toast kinda girl. But I stopped in and the food was wonderful. Not that I expected anything less. I got the build your own omelette with chorizo, mixed bell peppers, spinach, and cheese and it came with sliced avocado and potatoes and onions on the side. Everything was well seasoned. I also got a side of pancakes. These pancakes were so good and they were not doughy as some pancakes can be but these were buttery and fluffy. These taste as good as Tex Shirley's back in the day. Check out the breakfast pics and support and check them out. It's truly worth it. Also I left nothing on my plates.
