Pueblo Viejo - Hillsborough

I haven't lived in Hillsborough for 21 years. My daughter and I decided to spend a Saturday there. What a pleasant surprise to find this jewel of a restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I can't wait to visit them.

It was really good. I like a little more spice in my beef, but that's a preference thing It was cooked well and tasted great. You can always add hot sauce lol

Angie, my server, was incredibly kind, quick, and helpful. She was fantastic! My food arrived promptly, and it was freshly prepared and delicious. I'm really glad I decided to stop here on my way home. I highly recommend this place!

The food here stands out from most Mexican restaurants in the area. The refried beans were especially delicious, with a spice or seasoning that added a perfect depth of flavor, though I can't quite place what the secret ingredient is! The portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming, so you won’t feel like you have to force yourself to finish your meal. I would definitely be happy to eat here again, even though the restaurant is an hour away from me.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Hillsborough. I always enjoy my meals whenever I go for dinner. The staff is friendly and courteous. Be sure to check this place out when you're in the area!
