Your pizza is pretty good. Surprisingly, they have 12 locations. I had the paprika and the buffalo chicken pizza. The peppers and onions were thinly cut, but I prefer them a little thicker. I personally love Frank's hot sauce, so everything is a bit too vinegary for my pleasure. The crust was absolutely delicious! Could not find thin crust city pizza anywhere until now. My Family has owned pizzareas for 30+ years, but I don’t live close becuase I moved to somerset county. I’ve had pantieras in other locations but they don’t compare to the Hillsborough one. The crust is so good, they put the right amount of cheese and sauce. The crust is nice and thin like it should be. Very very tasty. I will definitely be going back from now on. I hope it’s always the same!
Good pizza, pleasant staff I particularly like their buffalo chicken pizza, best I've found anywhere
Panatieri 's is a New Jersey chain from Pizzerias, from Bound Brook. The owner Chris Panatieri owns and operates the original location. There are nine total locations in New Jersey, but this rating is for the Hillsborough location. The pizzeria itself replaced another Hillsborough pizzeria called Portabello 's, which from what I remember served a decent level slice. The setup is similar, with a large counter that has many of the available options and plentiful interior fit. Parking is also quite simple, as the lot is shared with a nearby cabbage, so there are many places. While I first missed the disappearance of Portabello after trying Panatieri 's, I almost forgot why I enjoyed Portabello's first place. Panatieri's pizza is very good with a thin and crispy soil and delicious bread crust. The crust is one of the most satisfying properties of pizza and has a great crunch. I thought the sauce was a pleasant mix of spicy and zesty and the cheese was fresh and very tasty. The Margherita disc was decent. Maybe no winner, but it was a good choice with more of the sauce I enjoyed. It is clear why Chris Panatieri has successfully opened a pizza chain in New Jersey, one of the world's pizza capitals. The pizza is quality and the crust is some of the best I enjoyed. When I finally release my ranking for the worst to best pizza in Hillsborough, I will make sure Panatieri 's higher than average.
The pizza here is quite tasty! I was surprised to find out they have 12 locations. I tried the paprika and buffalo chicken pizzas. While the peppers and onions were sliced thin, I generally prefer them a bit thicker. I’m a big fan of Frank's hot sauce, so I found the flavors a bit too vinegary for my taste. However, the crust was absolutely delightful—it reminded me of the Portuguese rolls I love, but lighter and with a smoother texture. The staff at checkout were very friendly, and the restaurant was clean, although I did notice a few tables nearby that still had crumbs on them.
I hadn't visited this place in years, but over the weekend, I stopped by for a few slices with my family. We arrived during the midday hours, and I was pleased to find a wide selection of cakes to choose from, all of which were very appealing. The slices we had were also delicious!
