Maple View Ice Cream Store

Best I've cream around. We have traveled from Mebane and Hillsborough to get ice cream here. Very rich and the cones are always warm and fresh. We have also enjoyed their chocolate milk.

I really enjoy the ice cream, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes!

Maple View is the best spot for ice cream in the area! The atmosphere is fantastic, and I definitely recommend bringing a picnic blanket so you can enjoy your treats outdoors with family and friends. However, I have to say that the Devil's Delight flavor was a bit of a letdown. As a devoted Duke fan, I was really looking forward to trying it since it was approved by Coach K himself! Unfortunately, just like Coach K's last season, the flavor left me feeling disappointed. On a brighter note, I highly recommend trying the Carolina Crunch. I was initially skeptical, but it ended up being the best flavor there, and I’ll certainly be getting it every time I visit! I also think it would be amazing to have Armando Bacot create his own flavor - he truly deserves it!

Mapleview is clearly a favorite among the locals, from families to university students, and it's easy to see why! They offer a wide variety of flavors at reasonable prices, and the scoops are generous. I heard that they used to source their milk directly from the cows you can see outside, although that has changed. Nevertheless, the quality of their ice cream remains exceptional—rich, creamy, decadent, and loaded with toppings. There’s also ample parking available and outdoor seating, making it a great spot for a summer or spring outing. I can only imagine how stunning the sunset looks over the hills and trees. I definitely look forward to returning to sample more flavors!

Delicious, staff is kind and helpful and gorgeous views. My son and I have food allergies and they are always happy to look up ingredients and be careful making our treats to keep us safe which I greatly appreciate.
