Excellent choice for a locally-based company; fast and friendly service. While doing a regular maintenance on our water treatment/softening system (we are on well water) we noticed that the water heater that serves half the house was leaking from the bottom. Since we have owned the house since 2003 and we had never replaced it, and the house was built in 1992, it was most likely the original installation. Based on re... View all feedback.
Ryan was always helpful and always honest. Rates were typically more affordable than I usually expect and they didn't screw around with trip charges. Also saved us a lot of money by just telling me directly how to do things a lot of times for small jobs unless we just didn't want to do it because of being busy with or tired from our own jobs or something. I liked this company so much I tried to get them to drive to Charlotte for service after we moved (offering to pay the time even). Too far of course and that's fine but it'd be awesome if they opened a Charlotte office.
Dr Drain took care of a 2nd floor tub that was leaking into my downstairs. Ryan was very professional and ethical in how he approached the problem and the resolution. He did great work, and made sure I knew what to expect along the way. I'm very happy to recommend their work.Service: Plumbing leak repair
Ted is always so thorough and efficient! I always appreciate their willingness to help?
So there are dozens of plumbers listed in the area and you never know if they are honest and competent. I got really lucky by choosing Dr Drain. I had an urgent issue with my shower faucet leaking and spraying water into the wall behind the shower. I had to turn off the water shutoff for the house. The first plumber I called estimated a repair cost of $900. I decided against them and called Dr Drain. The receptionist, April was very nice, professional, and understood the urgency of my problem. She promised to have someone here in a few hours. As promised, Ryan showed up and listened carefully as I explained my problem. It took him about 2 minutes to see what the problem was and proceeded with the repair. He didn't try to sell me parts that I didn't need. Total repair cost was $200. I highly recommend Dr Drain because of their honesty, competence and fair prices. I would definitely use them again.
Great! They came within a few hours and immediately identified the problem was with the older pipes in the wall. They were clean and professional and snaked the drain. They kept snaking until they found the problem it was 60 feet down the pipe! Sink works great now.
