Red Robin Gourmet Burgers - Hillsboro

This restaurant is an ideal spot for gathering with either the whole family or just friends.

My wife and I have been loyal patrons of Red Robin for years, as this is our go-to spot. We are familiar with which locations excel and which ones could use some improvement, and we are pleased that the nearest one to our house is one of the better ones. The menu can vary greatly in terms of customization - for example, when I request extra mushrooms, sometimes I receive just a few extra slices, while other times the dish is overflowing with them. This lack of consistency is a minor issue, but not a deal-breaker. Overall, the service is usually reliable and we have no complaints in that area.

The food lacked flavor and the fries appeared to be the bottom of the bag with very small pieces.

For same price as going to Subway get better food and service.

Is Red Robin trimming down on service? We weren't given flatware when we were seated or when we were served our appetizer by the manager. When our burgers came out, we requested for utensils. When it was provided to us, we were given a fork with a napkin wrapped around it; no knife to cut our burgers with. We had to make a second request for the knife.
