Ochoas Mexican Grill - Hillsboro

The food was okay but the restaurant is disgusting. The place is so dirty inside and out. The vent had dust balls so thick I’m sure some have landed in the food. This place looks like it’s never cleaned and obviously the health department has not been there recently. Do not go here unless you want to get sick.

I called because I had a missing meal with my order. After she kept telling me I only ordered 1 meal she read the order to me and saw the second meal! Then she wanted me to drive to get it, I order delivery because I don’t drive in the rain. She told me ok after arguing with me to send it. No meal came so I called back to see what was going on and she hung up on me!! The food my sister got wasn’t even that good.

I wrote in cash in the tip amount on the receipt because I left behind a cash tip and they padded the receipt total by 20%, so they got a 40% tip without my consent. Shady. But the insults to injury were many... they advertised their nachos at $6 and charged us $13 the birria taco was not consumable, the meat had gone sour the service was minimal as is expected for walk-up service, however our order was dropped off at the wrong table I suspect that this eatery might be resting on its laurels and would benefit from a complete review and overhaul of its operations and training.

I ordered quesabirria tacos and consome, and it was okay. The consome was not super flavorful, just a little spicy. My tacos also had large pieces of hard cartilage and bone in them. It makes sense for me to have found them in the consome, but in my tacos kind of ruined my appetite.

Not my favorite. Tried it only because Don Pedro's has cut back so much on how much meat they put in their burritos
