I thinks it is one of the best buffets we have been to in the USA. I find the seafood selection nice and fresh. Salmon nigiri delicious and not too much rice put under nigiri. The fruits and dessert are also delicious too. Friendly and prompt service.Husband ate lots of oysters. View all feedback.
What Caviar doesn't like about Hug Grill Buffet:
It's been a while since I have been to a buffet and this place is ok. Some of the food that's out is good, looks fresh and tastes good but others felt dry, out for too long, or undercooked. I don't personally have high expectations for buffets ingeneral but overall this was not a bad spot. Would I come back again? Not likely. Maybe after a long while when in the mood fora buffet again and with a friend or two who are... View all feedback.
The place has lots of seating. Restrooms were clean. The food is fresh. 3 stars is in my opinion is because I was expecting more and wasn't wowed by the selection. But it was alright.
The food was great and the diversity of choices is really good. Service not so much but after all it's a buffet, if they check out if the customer needs drinks or refills it will be great. Lunch for 2 people was about $50.There's a difference in price depending on what day in the week you are going to be there. We just happened to be Saturday afternoon which is about $7 more expensive than on business days per person.
It's a tummy filler. Every time I go there to plates of food is enough to fill you for the entire night and the next day it has a decent variety of food, and depending on who is cooking, it could be really fresh and nice or you can tell that it was obviously left out for a very long time. Sometimes when I go there, I see people with 12 plates on a table and I wonder to myself if there is going to be anybody joining them, but in reality, they were the ones that ate all the plates so that is how you know this is a good place. The lady at the front desk is very nice and she has a fan favorite.
For a Chinese buffet this place is not bad. Is it the best Chinese food in the world? No. But there's a lot of it. You'd struggle to not find something you like. There's lots of sushi to choose from, and lots of desserts. Just set your expectations accordingly. It's a cheapish buffet.
We thoroughly enjoyed the smorgasbord at the, ‘Hug Grill Buffet’. There are so many options; from sushi, seafood, beef, Chinese food, and a vast array of desserts. Bring your appetite! The food was great and we found the prices to be very reasonable for the selection and volume of food there is to chose from.Yes! I ate all the jello!
