We went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was still busy at 2 pm. The food was good and hot. The servers were very friendly. The only exception was that some of the people plating up the food were using their bare hands. I would probably eat there again. View all feedback.

Good food. A little pricey. Ridiculous surcharges! $2.50 for a glass of ice water. 50 cents for a carry-out box or a cup to go.
Dots is the premier soul food restaurant in the Huntsville/Decatur area. The food is good. Authentic. Reasonably priced. I love that it's served cafeteria style. It makes for a faster service. I'm always amazed that other similar restaurants don't adopt the cafeteria style serving method. In today's busy world, time is very important.
Just come by to tried out the plate of varieties it was all good for my taste of my experience it happens to be my first time to dine in here for Dot’s Soul Food Restaurant.
Excellent. You have to get what the selection is that day, but no bad choices!
