Great tasting food. Superb naan bread. Lovely atmosphere and really nice friendly staff. Had lunch...kitchen closes at 2.30pm at lunch. Bar available...great tv's..
Frequently pass this place and it always looks really quiet so never really gave it a chance. A friend of mind decided to recomend so I went and was pleasantly surprised. It is never busy but that just means the staff are more attentive. Food is lovely and good value for money.
I visited on my own whilst working locally having never been to Eastcote previously. I was made to feel very welcome and the service was excellent throughout. Food was served promptly but I didn’t feel rushed. It tasted lovely and was clearly freshly cooked to order. Highly recommended
Definitely the best service and food we've experienced in Eastcote recently, the waiting staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. We arrived at around 9.30pm and were welcomed and seated in the pleasantly traditionally decorated restaurant. Service was prompt and the food was delicious- the chilli paneer was very very good! We'd ordered a bit more than we could manage and were offered carry out for the remainder. Thank you for a very nice end to the Christmas holidays, we'll be back!
When you walk into an Indian restaurant at 8.30 on a Friday and only a couple of tables are occupied, the chances are you are in the wrong restaurant. And so it was. It started badly, as the poppadoms they gave us were stale, and it only got better briefly. My starter of jeera aloo was quite good, and reasonably large. My wife's prawn puree was tasty but there were very few prawns. There was nothing particularly wrong with the mains, but they weren't that tasty or exciting, and despite us ordering a chicken dhansak and a patia they weren't at all spicy. There wasn't a great amount of chicken in the dish, but what there was was a bit dry too. I can't remember what veg we had it obviously wasn't memorable. Prices are pretty reasonable, service was OK but not great, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. All of which is irrelevant as the food isn't worth making a visit and I wont be going back.
