Contribute Feedback What Oliver English doesn't like about Bob Evans:
The hostess informed us that they had run out of spoons and inquired if that would be alright, which I found a bit odd. Waiting for refills seemed to take an eternity. The bread on the turkey bacon deli sandwich was disappointingly soggy and unappetizing. It's been years since I last visited Bob Evans, as it's not really my preference. However, I went along this time because someone else was keen on going. View all feedback.
We go to numerous Bob Evans around the West side of Columbus and this was one of the better experiences. I like going to places where I can spend quality time with my daughter and this was perfect. It was really quiet and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our waitress met every request with a smile, she was prompt, and our food came quickly. Recently we went to the Bob Evans off of Hilliard Rome Road and we had to ask for everything (like plates to eat on) and our food took forever. This was not the case here. At this Bob Evans we were seated quickly, we didn't have to ask for more drinks because our waitress was on top of offering us more which she brought quickly, and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food to show up hot and delicious. Our waitress anticipated anything we might need and laid it on the table unlike the other Bob Evans where I had to ask for everything and then wait for it to come while my food got cold. Our waitress also went out of her way to accommodate my 9yr old when she asked for ice while ordering a hot chocolate. She asked my daughter if she would like a cup of ice or if she wanted her to put the ice in for her before she brought it. This made my daughter feel important. ? Even though she had other customers to take care of we felt like we were the only ones! I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this location (and the crispy potatoes in a pan)!Kid-friendliness: The waitress let my 9yr old pick her straw, asked if she wanted a kids menu and when she brought her hot chocolate she put it in a bigger cup with lots of whip cream.
The food was not tasty. the service was fine. Besides , only one person was running around in the entire place.
Nice staff and good food. Last fall they seemed very understaffed, and that's improved greatly. Nice place to eat. Love the banana bread.

A party of 5 and we came in an hour before closing. Our apologies...4 of us were driving in from out of town. Staff was very friendly, polite and so understanding. Our God was served swift and everything was prepared fresh. We all enjoyed our meals and warm beverages as we chatted and visited. Then our server peeped us take away cups to go with our to-go dessert orders. Again everyone was friendly, did was fresh and the over all experience was fantastic.Dietary restrictions: We had a dinner in our party with lactose restrictions that they were easily able to help navigate the menu and offer simple alternatives.Kid-friendliness: This is an all around family style restaurant with activities for kids, high chairs available for littles and a relaxed environment for everyone to be able to enjoy themselves while dining.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible from parking thru to seating and ask around with an open floor plan that keeps it simple to navigate where you need to.
