Fish was fresh and quality, chips were steak cut and well cooked, and the fried chicken burger was really flavourful, much better than the average fish chip shop has to offer View all feedback.
Had really nice tempura battered trevally and curly chips The 'thai infuenced ' fish cakes not so. Would be better called mashed potato with a little bit of fish chucked in cakes pretty mushy and tasteless, really was expecting at least some chili and coriander in them. Coleslaw looked a bit past its best.
Amazing fish chips! Not oily at all. Had one of each fish (Snapper, Gurnard, Tarakihi and Hoki) as well as a scoop of kumara and normal chips. Very very yummy Usually go all the way to raglan for fish and chips but this one is WAY better (less oily and tastier) and just 5 mins away from our house! The owners are also really friendly, had a yarn with them and my parents in cantonese! I'd maybe suggest bringing your own sauce... But they do sell sauce but I'm a cheapo

A friendly, clean chip shop which is a popular local. I had to try the in Season Bluff oysters with a 1/2 portion of chips. Perfect for a Winter evening. Both the battered oysters and the chips were amazing. Nice touch with the slice of lemon. They certainly do a great fry. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.
Amazing fish and chips spot. We had the snapper and gurnard packs with chips which came with tomato sauce and tartare sauce. Fish were very fresh and the batter was great. Did not taste or feel oily which makes this place 5/5. Staff were also very friendly and helpful on what we should get. Would definitely come again!
