Can not fault the food or cleanliness of this café.    Quaint place, very friendly service.    Whenever I  have visitors I like to take them out to Garden Café as I can always ensure the food will be delicious and oh my goodness the Burgers are fantastic!  Garden place may have lost some pizazz over the years however Garden Café is still as delightful to dine at as always, just a pity they are not open Sundays.

Pleasant environment, very friendly staff, tasty sausage roll and delicious milkshake. Yes, it hit the right spot. It was very enjoyable and I'll be back. : .

Had lunch here with my parents last week. Small colourful cafe in garden place. Good outdoor seating lovely spot on a fine day despite some colourful characters sitting close by enjoying a very animated conversation. Ordered chicken n avo sandwich, kumera chips with aoli which were very yummy and a couple of cakes. The food was all good. Very friendly staff. The cafe was clean and the cabinet food all looked appealing and at a good price. While this is somewhat of a more traditional cafe without the glitz n glamour of many modern cafes I cannot fault the staff, price or food.

Me hubby come here everyday it is open, been doing so now for 12 years. The owners are awesome people you couldn't get the great customer service they deliver anywhere else in town.And their iced coffees are truly divine and the only place your likely to find that actually makes it with milk and not water ice.We will continue to come here for another 12 years!

Just went to Garden Cafe as it was recommended by some of my family members. I was told to try their shakes and burgers! Not only was the food yummy, shake delicious, but I found the owners so friendly and more interested in making sure I was satisfied and exactly how I liked my food and drink rather than most places that just serves you and then expects you to leave. I loved sitting outside in the sun at one of their outside tables with umbrella with my two small daughters. It's hard to find a place like this one nowadays. Service, food, drink, atmosphere, everything was truely enjoyable and I can't believe I haven't gone there before. I'm going to keep coming back to this cafe, and also next time will take my elderly mother. You can see that Garden Place, even most of the CBD going downhill but trying to pick itself back up, but Garden Cafe was thriving and still clearly alive.
