The food was very good for a fair price. I'd come back anytime. Greetings from Erndtebrück
Today was disastrous. The table was assigned quickly, but the wait for the food was very long. Waiting times were over 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. The gyro was brown, but very greasy and had gristle. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, is charging €5.00 for a portion of tasteless tzatziki. A portion of gyro costs €6.50, with tzatziki for €11.50. I've been scammed again. It doesn't need to be scammed more than three times. I'll drive past it now. 2 stars only because the staff is friendly and the decor is decent and comfortable.
It was truly delicious. The service was attentive, and the prices were surprisingly low, especially for drinks.
We ordered from the Greek restaurant Pegasus in Hilchenbach. The delivery was fine – the food arrived reasonably warm, which is acceptable for a delivery. A particularly positive point: The tzatziki was really tasty, as were the fries – nice and crispy and well-seasoned. The gyro was unfortunately marbled. One part was well-cooked and tasted great, while another part was very burnt and therefore unfortunately bitter. What was absolutely not good: a huge slice of onion, about 12 cm in diameter, on top of the meat – it seemed unloving and didn't really fit the dish. Instead of the advertised small mixed salad, there was only a simple coleslaw – a shame, as we would have preferred a bit more variety and freshness. Overall, an average experience with both ups and downs. Okay for a quick Greek meal, but there's definitely room for improvement.
