What Barbara Sommerer doesn't like about Disotto:
This place is excellent. The veal pasta, fish, roasted beet salad, and baratta were all outstanding. The carrot cake and chocolate gelato were also delicious. The manager was very kind and came over to chat with us. It can be a bit pricey, so it's not somewhere I can afford to eat at regularly, but the food is always on point and delicious. This lovely Italian restaurant offers a range of distinctive dishes. The complimentary bread is delightful and goes well with the olive oil seasoned with herbs. Be sure not to overlook this culinary adventure!
I have only been here for brunch, but after this experience, I will not be returning for dinner.
I had a delightful dining experience at Disotto! The restaurant has a unique rustic-modern interior and charming antique-style painted dishes that set it apart as a one-of-a-kind Italian eatery.
The food was excellent but a little pricey for the portions received. The service was a challenge because the server did not speak/understand English very well. When asked about corkage fees we were told $55... So we went with the house Shiraz (Copper Moon) and that was $55 for a bottle of wine that is retailed for about $7... So all in all good food, WAY over priced!
Service was great and the food was flavorful and outstanding. We were able to bring a nice bottle of wine as well that brough out the flavours of each dish. I would go back and recommend.
