Disotto - HIGHWOOD
Disotto
Description
This restaurant seems to be a hit or miss for some guests. While some enjoyed the fantastic sea bass tacos and excellent service, others faced challenges with their reservations, language barriers with servers, and high pricing for wine. Overall, it seems like a good spot for Taco Tuesday with happy hour deals. Private parties were a hit with impeccable service and delicious food. The decor was beautiful, and the food was great with some standout dishes. Despite some mixed experiences, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff was accommodating, making it a suitable spot for various occasions, such as a nice date night or a family dinner.

We sat in the enclosed patio area at this restaurant. The ambiance was energetic, and we could hear and see the occasional train passing by. The appetizers, brussel sprouts and octopus, were really great. Our pasta dishes were also good. It was a busy night and the staff forgot about our bottle of wine, but they made it up to us by giving us a free dessert in the end.
This place is excellent. The veal pasta, fish, roasted beet salad, and baratta were all outstanding. The carrot cake and chocolate gelato were also delicious. The manager was very kind and came over to chat with us. It can be a bit pricey, so it's not somewhere I can afford to eat at regularly, but the food is always on point and delicious.
We went for my husbands birthday after Pumpkin Fest! Food was delicious! All 8 adults loved their meal and our grandson who is only 20 months old couldn’t get enough meatballs!!!
