Food was good, and the service was surprisingly mediocre. I believe the server was more interested in selling as much as he could rather than providing thoughtful, attentive service. Also, it was my wife's Birthday and I put it in the online reservation, I told the hostess AND I told the manager when he came around. No one did anything to acknowledge her Birthday. This place is excellent. The veal pasta, fish, roasted beet salad, and baratta were all outstanding. The carrot cake and chocolate gelato were also delicious. The manager was very kind and came over to chat with us. It can be a bit pricey, so it's not somewhere I can afford to eat at regularly, but the food is always on point and delicious. I had a delightful dining experience at Disotto! The restaurant has a unique rustic-modern interior and charming antique-style painted dishes that set it apart as a one-of-a-kind Italian eatery.

The food was excellent but a little pricey for the portions received. The service was a challenge because the server did not speak/understand English very well. When asked about corkage fees we were told $55... So we went with the house Shiraz (Copper Moon) and that was $55 for a bottle of wine that is retailed for about $7... So all in all good food, WAY over priced!

Service was great and the food was flavorful and outstanding. We were able to bring a nice bottle of wine as well that brough out the flavours of each dish. I would go back and recommend.
