If I could rate 0 stars I would bought 24 wings 12 hot 12 bbq and they were delivered all mixed together then called about it and was interrupted and told “listen, you should have ordered 12 hot and 12 bbq or been more specific with 24 wings 12 hot and 12 bbq” I said well I every where else knowns not to mix them the call went south after that because the staff was being rude and unprofessional and I said twice ma’am... This restaurant is fantastic. Have you ever had a delightful chat with a delivery driver who went above and beyond to be a nice guy for 10 minutes? This is not your average pizza joint - this place deserves to be praised and acknowledged for their high quality food and exceptional service!
This restaurant definitely deserves a great review! I have tried many different places in the last few months, and everything at Mama's is delicious! It was difficult to find a good pizza place in New Jersey, but Mama's really delivered. Their subs are made with real bread, and their hot honey garlic wings were perfect!
Absolutely one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and I've tried the Sicilian and regular cakes of her grandmother! all fantastic. tonight I ordered her mamas specialboli and there were hands down the best booli I ever had.
I would have given them five stars based on their food which is fabulous! However, I recently had a problem which caused me to give them less Stars. On memorial Day I got on their website to order food. I realize it was a holiday. I expected that if they were closed for the holiday, their website would tell you they were closed and would prevent customers from placing and paying for food orders. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I was able to place a food order and pay. After paying, a pop-up message told me that my food would be ready to pick up in 30 minutes. When I arrived at mama's, they were closed!!! This was very inconvenient for me. I ran out of my way to pick up a food order for which I had paid, and ended up with no food and I was out the money I paid. The charges for the food that I didn't receive) were taken out of my account the next day. I called Mama's and left a voicemail explaining the problem. No one ever called me back. By the second day I had to make another trip to the restaurant to try to get a refund for food that I never received. When I approached the counter to politely tell them that I had a problem with an order that I paid for and never received because they were closed, the guy behind the counter ignored me. A couple of minutes later he indicated that I should talk to the guy that was sitting in the dining room (who had been listening to my conversation the whole time and never said come talk to me). The guy in the dining room told me that she would take care of refunding me the charges. He was very vague about when and how this would work- I didn't get a clear answer, except learning that, she was working on it He was nice and he did apologize. One would think that they could have done a better job rectifying my problem, considering it was a mistake on their end. It was clear they didn't care about the inconvenience it caused me and that I was just going to have to wait until they got around to doing whatever they were going to do to rectify it. They still haven't refunded my charges and it's been 5+ days. Like I said, I do like their food, but they have the worst customer service in the world!! Their response to my situation: that they were closed and their website allowed me to pay my hard-earned money and then run to the restaurant to pick up food when they were closed.... and then have to run back another time to try and get my money back for product that I never received is just ridiculous! They could have at least had the consideration of returning my phone call! Not to mention, they still haven't given me my money back. They might have thought to offer me credit toward an order. And as a new business they might have wanted to offer me a complimentary soda or something on my next order for the inconvenience that they caused me. I'm going to think twice about doing business with them again. I just don't feel like they appreciate my business when they don't care about rectifying the situation in a timely manner.
