St. Andrew UMC is an incredibly wonderful church. The sermons delivered by Rev. Mark Feldmeir are truly inspiring and vibrant. We greatly appreciate the messages of inclusion, acceptance, compassion, and understanding. Furthermore, I would describe the sermons as relevant, thoughtful, and warm. It’s a pleasure to listen to him, and with each one I’ve attended, I continue to be impressed. The music is beautiful, and the atmosphere of the church is peaceful and relaxing. Additionally, the children’s and outreach programs are excellent, contributing to the church's well-rounded appeal. We absolutely love this church and can't express enough positive things about it!
This is a wonderful location for daycare centers. While we don’t utilize the services directly, we do engage in childcare programs and help support the pantry. The program is well-structured, the teachers are attentive, and the costs are reasonable.
Thank you for all that you did for our STEM children, families, and staff. The kindness, warmth, and compassion of your community were truly heartwarming. They dedicated so much time to us. And the blankets—thank you for organizing that! I never realized how much they would be appreciated. We are also grateful for the safe space you provided for us to gather with friends.
I was recently in this church with a group of volunteers for habitat for humanity. We were on a college spring break service trip. We were allowed to use a little of the plant in the week we stayed. We brought our own camping pads and air mattresses, and our group met the two rooms comfortably. They supplied us with a washing machine and a dryer, clean toilets and showers, access to a play/film room and the shared use of two kitchens. The facilities were supervised, and the people were welcoming, friendly and helpful. As a less religious person, I felt comfortable and would like to stay/visit on occasion. Thank you to all those who made this stay as comfortable as possible!
There’s a place for everyone at this progressive and inclusive church. Our kids have been enriched by the children and youth programs, which offer bible learning and social justice, choirs, and service opportunities. My husband and I have taken advantage of the many book groups, bible study and special classes. We are involved in the music program, which includes 3 handbell choirs, an orchestra, small vocal groups as well as the large chancel choir. So many ways to worship through music! The church has programs to serve and help the homeless and impoverished, missions working on immigration and third world issues, an active social justice committee, and so much more. You are welcome here.
