Top Notch - Highland
Top Notch
Description
At this diner, the charm of its retro décor contrasts sharply with the service and food quality. While some patrons enjoyed reasonably priced dishes and a clean atmosphere, they were let down by inconsistent service that ranged from slow to nonexistent. Complaints about soggy pork chops and lackluster salads were common, overshadowing a few positive experiences like hot fries and a decent breakfast. Although some diners found the food satisfactory and the atmosphere family-friendly, the overall impression leans toward disappointment. For those in search of a memorable dining experience, it may be worth exploring other options in the area.

The food at Top Notch is fantastic and reasonably priced. I have come back to this restaurant for a meal numerous times.
I ordered the pork chop dinner which came with 2 chops, french fries, salad, soup, a roll, and butter pecan ice cream. The food and service were excellent, and I had enough leftover to enjoy later. I will definitely return to this restaurant.
The food and service at 2-11-23 are always excellent! I love the rice pudding with extra cinnamon. Dawn is an amazing server.
The food is cheap but it tastes cheap, if you want a good tasting quality breakfast than I do not recommend. Also, we waited a very long time after being seated to have our order taken. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Waitress was very slow and inattentive. Food was a little salty. Thought I lost my wallet, and the owner showed no concern and didn't offer assistance. BIG NOTE: NOT handicapped accessible. NO ramp. Doors were heavy to handle, I had a cane and my friend was in her wheelchair. Very difficult getting in and out of restaurant. Photo attached showing what I assume passes for a ramp too narrow for a wheelchair. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
