Jj's Grill - Highland

This is a decent bar for a shopping center that includes a Valero gas station and a donut shop. I came in for drinks and appetizers. The food was good, and our server was excellent. However, I found the prices to be outrageous—$18 for a double Captain and Coke! We ordered four drinks, six wings, and asada fries, and the total came to $105. That’s ridiculous! I don't think I'll be going back, especially since there are many better-priced options available nearby.

I had an excellent experience at the restaurant. My waitress, Audrey, was not only incredibly attractive but also very quick to address a mistake with my order, showcasing her professionalism. We had some great sports conversations as well. The restaurant itself had a lovely ambiance, and the food and appetizers were outstanding. I appreciated the option of choosing between large or small mugs/glasses. I have already recommended this place to my family and friends, and I will continue to do so. It truly had a wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service.

No one greeted us as we walked in; they didn't even look up or acknowledge our presence. We ended up sitting ourselves, and it took about 10-15 minutes for someone to bring us a menu. After another 15 minutes, they finally came back to take our drink order—we were ready to place our food order at that point, too. Instead of writing it down, the server turned to leave, then stopped and asked us to repeat our order. After waiting for over an hour, we were just about done and ready to leave after finishing our drinks. Finally, one staff member, who was actually working, mentioned that our food would be coming out shortly. When it arrived, it wasn't bad, but at that point, they apologized for their new system and recent remodel. However, it felt too late, and we shouldn't have had to bring any of this up ourselves. While the staff wasn't rude and the prices were reasonable, the service was extremely inattentive. I won't be coming back and definitely won't recommend this place.

The atmosphere felt a bit empty for a Sunday football match. However, the wings were truly delicious and cooked perfectly. I would definitely return.

This restaurant is one of my favorites! The sampler platter is so delicious that it's hard to resist, perfect for a group of four. The children's menu is great too, and the drinks are excellent! We really enjoyed the live bands that played on Saturday night.
