Jade Inn Chinese - Highland

Typically, everything is quite good here. However, this time the shrimp had a slight taste of cleaning products mixed with the eggs. I mentioned it to the waitress, who was very polite and offered to bring me more, but I declined because I was concerned it might taste the same. Other than that, it's a nice place.

During this pandemic, we have been searching online for local Chinese restaurants that offer dining options in our area. Today, we discovered a gem: Jade Inn Chinese Restaurant in Highland, CA. The dishes were fantastic! We sampled the Cashew Chicken, which was both well-prepared and flavorful. The vegetarian Egg Foo Young was also incredibly delicious. The combination Fried Rice, featuring beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp, came in a generous portion and tasted amazing. If you haven't yet visited Jade Inn Chinese Restaurant, I highly recommend giving it a try!

I've ordered from this restaurant twice now, and I’ve been impressed both times. On my last visit, I tried the Spicy Tofu, which was delicious. This time, we selected from their menu and had the Mongolian Beef and Mo Shu Pork, both of which came with fried rice, an egg roll, and egg blossom soup. Additionally, we ordered the Cashew Chicken lunch special, which included steamed rice, an egg roll, and egg blossom soup. We also tried the Roasted Duck entrée, which comes with a side of steamed rice. My husband absolutely loved the roasted duck—it’s a half duck with crispy skin and a dipping sauce. I will definitely be coming back for more. They have an efficient system in place now, and their lunch specials are very affordable. Why spend money on fast food when you can enjoy a better meal here? You can also call ahead to place your order. A great perk is that if you’ve ordered before, they keep your name on file, so you won’t have to repeat yourself. If you’re looking for something different, definitely give the roasted duck a try!
