This place is super dog friendly! Yes, they have amazing ciders (and beers) with plenty of seating both inside and out, the food truck outside offers flavorful food, and the bartender is very knowledgeable and visibly passionate about his job, but the highlight for me was him going out of his way to rinse a bowl for my dog! I enjoyed the cider flight and rosemary fries outside with a beautiful view of their apple orc... View all feedback.
My husband and I got married at Bad Seed Cider Co on 8.19.23 and they truly made our dream wedding come true!!! Devin was quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the wedding. He was flexible with the set up and allowed our vision to come to life exactly how we wanted it! Thankfully, we had a beautiful day and we were able to have our ceremony outside and take our photos in the beautiful orchard! The weather truly cooperated with us and we were able to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor space throughout the reception! We loved that the space was open enough for the kids to run around and everyone loved hanging around the fire pit for s’mores! Throughout the whole day, all the staff was SUPER friendly and helpful! Thank you to everyone at Bad Seed for being part of our story!! We can’t wait to go back!
Literally everything about my wedding was absolutely perfect. Bad seed is THE PLACE to get married!! Devin answered every annoying question I had along the way. It was such a great price and the vibe was unforgettable. Everyone came up to us and said WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS PLACE??? This is how you do a wedding!!! We are so incredibly thankful to devin and his team. We could not be happier with our choice.
I came here for a Big Gay Hudson Valley event, and it was just delightful! The cider is also quite good. I landed on a half and half or original and Ginger. They also have a canned one that is aged in Bourbon Barrels that is out of this world.
We had a great time at the comedy show. Lots of outdoor seating. Corn hole, fire pit and food truck. Even a slide for the kids.
Making a venue decision is one of the most daunting tasks facing an engaged couple, and I’m hoping this review helps make that decision easier: get married at Bad Seed. The space is incredible, the staff is unparalleled, and the ciders are delicious.Allow me to elaborate: for our wedding in May 2023, our vision was a fun party surrounded by 80 of our closest family members and friends. Bad Seed is one of our favorite local breweries, and it’s an important place for my husband and for me, so booking them was a no-brainer. We did look at least 20 venues, compared costs, created spreadsheets, etc—but at the end of the day, the awesome space, the ability to support an awesome small local business, and responsiveness and openness of Devin (one of the owners) made picking Bad Seed a no-brainer. Bad Seed only hosts one wedding a weekend, which is also fantastic because it gives you, the couple, so much more time and flexibility. (So many venues that we saw had very strict, machine-like policies that I understand from an efficiency perspective—but on one of the most special days of your life, you might want a little more flexibility.)Our original vision for our wedding was outdoors under the beautiful oak tree in the orchard, followed by a cocktail hour under the twinkle lights and open sky, with the reception and dance party to follow indoors. Of course, despite it not having rained for 7 years prior on our wedding date, it poured exactly when our ceremony and cocktail hour were starting. But Bad Seed was ready to deal with that and made our day even better than we thought possible—we activated our Plan B and got married in the giant keg room (which was really cool and super on-brand for me and my husband), and had an absolute blast. Even though I was a neurotic mess checking the weather every 10 seconds, Devin and the Bad Seed crew rolled with it, allowing me to make my decision about braving the outdoors vs moving the ceremony indoors until about 4 hours before go-time. Seriously, these guys are the best.I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, and reiterate: Bad Seed rocks. Get married here. You won’t regret it.
