We really enjoy this place. Our recent visit was the 4th or 5th time I had eaten here. This time we came with some friends, just sat at the bar on a beautiful summer evening and enjoyed a variety of appetizers, cocktails and desserts (I had the Cod entree one it was fantastic! . The service was great, the atmosphere relaxing and the food was very good. We especially liked the Ahi Tuna and onions petal appetizers. We also tried the roasted artichoke hearts, shrimp cocktail and filled mushrooms. It's a great little ride in the country to get there, but only about 10-15 minutes from Edwardsville. We'll be back.
If the nachos were hungry, they were huge. Never had seafood nachos and they were really good. Also the crab bone plate. Great wort and taste on fresh crab legs. The best views of the beach possible. Worth the money every time.
I love this restaurant. It has wonderful food and service, but the unique setting is what makes it really special. It is literally a back porch with magnificent views of the surrounding forests. Take a favor and go there next weekend.
Amazing food. We go several times during the open season. Spend every anniversary with them, they really treat you like family.
Only open during the summer months, a great place for a great meal. The Original Mineral Springs next door is open all year.
