Kumamoto Mr Pi's Sushi Japanese

I absolutely love this place! I used to eat here when they were located in Metuchen, and they've never disappointed me. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

I picked up some food from the art market, but unfortunately, everything was cold and soggy. I'm not sure I would give this restaurant another try.

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. Jimmy was playing the piano, which added a delightful touch to the atmosphere. Both the service and the food were excellent. I dined in and spent between $20 and $30 per person. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars!

The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly, but the sushi was just average. I found the ginger and soy sauce to be much stronger in flavor than I'm accustomed to (I've eaten sushi in many different places). The ginger had a chemical taste that was off-putting and overpowered the fish. I usually love ginger, but this particular variety was difficult to enjoy. The soy sauce was also quite intensely flavored. Sushi is a delicate dish and deserves condiments that enhance its taste rather than overwhelm it.
