I... read more I had the chicken quesadilla for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The portion size was quite large, but I managed to finish it. I also tried the toffee cake, which was yummy. The prices were very reasonable at this simple restaurant/cafe that packs quite a punch. It was not busy when I visited on a weekday morning. The chef was friendly, not grumpy at all. They are open from 8 am to 5 pm; I hope they have longer hours in the summer.

We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff who knew all the regulars by name. The lunch was exceptional, with the pulled pork toasties being a standout dish that we highly recommend.
