The Coach House - Highland

During our stay at the nearby Dornoch Caravan and Camping site, we decided to walk into Dornoch for a meal. We opted for The Coach House because it is dog-friendly. We were warmly welcomed by both the staff and locals, who also had their dogs with them. Our haddock and chips were served promptly and were absolutely delicious. However, our Westie started causing a disturbance. One of the locals and then a staff member kindly offered to "dog sit" so that we could enjoy our meal in peace. It was truly exceptional service! A big thank you to everyone involved.

Extremely disappointed booked this after reading the reviews. The beef whist generous was tough as old boots. The Yorkshire pudding tasted off and we had to beg for salt! If you have any taste do not order the beef!

If you're looking to have a few too many drinks and feel like you can't even stand, then this is the pub for you. It seems like the staff may benefit from some training on responsible alcohol sales as well.

We stopped at this restaurant while touring the Highlands, and despite Covid restrictions, we received a warm welcome from the young bartender. The food was excellently cooked and presented, and the staff were very accommodating. The prices were also very fair. Thank you.

We had booked ahead, so glad we did as the restaurant was full. Especially recommend the Munchies cheesecake, it was delicious.
