While some reviews highlight friendly service and tempting fries, others lament the quality of the fish and chips, describing them as bland and reminiscent of frozen options. Visitors express disappointment as they anticipated fresh seafood, especially given the restaurant's prime coastal location. Despite the occasional praise for unique dishes and a charming atmosphere, many feel underwhelmed by the overall food quality relative to its price point. For a more rewarding meal, discerning patrons are encouraged to explore nearby eateries.
I would definitely recommend a visit here. nice eating and beautiful people. they even kept our fish and chips warm until we came back from the john o’groats ferry from orca.
The best place to eat in john ha groats. xxx suppe excellent. to die.
A beautiful place, nothing was too much annoyed. do not expect a sharp kitchen, good, happy eating, which is not intentional and does not cost a fortune. the personal is fabulous and up to earth.
Beautiful ladies that made even a batch of lasagne just because I asked them to eat very tasty and super with the children. once again thank you and we see you orca week
Great, friendly service from the guys at The Cabin. We ordered our fish and chips using messenger and they were ready to collect for us coming off the boat back from Orkney. Even had some salad and cakes thrown in. Will be back next time we're up. Cheers!
