This was my second visit to this chip shop. I ordered a kids' portion as I discovered that last year portion sizes are rather large. The food is nice, and prices are reasonable View all feedback.
What 246allieh doesn't like about The Beachcomber Fish Chip Shop:

A proper fish and chip shop. Huge portions with excellent curry sauce. My haddock was cooked to perfection. They cook everything fresh so they have a ticket system, you can wait in the car park until your number comes up on a display. Note, everything is cooked in beef dripping (yum! so not suitable for vegans or vegetarians
Poor fish and chips, really bland. Usually it's a given that these Scottish coastal towns have good fish and chips and going on the reviews maybe I got them on a bad day ?
I 'd written a previous review a very negative one; however this time it was the best fish and chips I 've had in years (and very big serving too). Fast and efficient service. I can recommend this 'place '
Great fish chips served by lovely friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit to Gairloch for this treat.
Given its location, the fish at this fish and chip shop was underwhelming. It was overcooked and the chips were decent but not worth the price.
