The staff is great and the coffees they serve are also very good (and that's saying something, coffee is usually not great in the area) The area is beautiful and the views are also very nice, it's worth going to hit a bite to that cafeteria. Had alovely chat ourside with a gentleman who explained about the Community Cafe and about the OAP 'Thursday Cafe/Club ' that is run each week; to gather some of the more 'mature of years and experince ' menbers of Thurso community together. This restaurant is a wonderful concept. The community comes together to support each other. They offer delicious and satisfying meals as well as a variety of coffee and pastries. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
This restaurant is a fantastic concept with delicious cakes and scones. The coffee was of high quality. There is no set payment, just donations, as the restaurant is run by volunteers. I admire the great ethos of this place and believe it is worth supporting. While some negative comments may be present, I found the bakes to be delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were excellent, and it's important to remember that we don't always know what others are going through, so we shouldn't be too quick to criticize. I can see how this restaurant could be a lifeline for many people in various ways.
