My husband asked what the soup was. Waitress said it was homemade vegetable soup. Blitzed. Ok so he ordered it when it came it was bright orange, he got a bit of stale crusty bread. The soup group was far from homemade. Mostly carrots. And tasted terrible, sadly he couldn't eat it Wasted money..I asked for the sweet menu. We took a break on the NC500 route to refuel and found a restaurant nearby. With three hungry kids in tow, we were really pleased we stopped here; it was definitely the best breakfast we've had on our trip so far. The staff were fantastic, and the food was served hot and fresh. We'll definitely make another stop on our way back home.
We stopped by for a snack since all the restaurants in Dornoch were full, and we were so glad we did! The guys enjoyed delicious bacon and egg rolls, while I savored a cup of piping hot coffee accompanied by homemade shortbread, which was simply delightful—truly the best I've ever tasted. The prices were very reasonable as well.

AVOID we wasted quite a bit of money and left hungry. Never again...
