A lovely course with lots of broom, would love to revisit when it is in full bloom. Really enjoyed playing the course and catering was good too with a lovely after golf soup and sandwich. View all feedback.

Last Thursday as part of our going out and about the members of the Rotary Club of Tain and Easter Ross met for lunch at the Tain Golf Club. We were offered a great choice for our special menu at an excellent price. The food was delicious and the helpings were so large some members struggled to eat everything. Of course the view from the clubhouse over the Moray Firth is spectacular.
Tain’s Golfing charms are already very well know, and are always rightly praised in glowing tributes, but did you know about its latest jewel in the crown? New chef John Buchanan having recently arrived, the meals at Old Tom Morris’s restaurant in the clubhouse have suddenly taken off in terms of quality, range of choices and great vfm. His steak nights are not to be missed! Now a seriously good option for a great dining experience in Tain, try it out ... you won’t be disappointed.
The restaurant, which was designed by Old Tom Morris, offers a fantastic layout that is easy to navigate from green to tee. The wide and lumpy fairways allow balls to roll effortlessly. The pro shop and clubhouse are both welcoming. Located near Dornoch, this course is definitely worth playing, along with other Highland courses. I look forward to returning if given the chance.
