Not as good as previous visits, Crispy Fishcakes were mainly mashed potato, asked to share a dessert but it came with only one set of cutlery was just plonked on the table. Very expensive for lunch given what you get the poor service, staff arguing at the counter as another tables order had not been sent to the kitchen, we are local won’t be going there again. We had a fantastic experience from the moment we entered the restaurant! The wait staff was attentive, the decor had a beachy vibe, and the food was excellent - from the cheddar soufflé to the mussels my husband loved, and his delicious lobster tail. If you're in Dornoch, we highly recommend dining at Luigi's!
We visited this restaurant for dinner and were impressed by the beautiful presentation of all the dishes. We started with the hot smoked salmon terrine, followed by the crispy duck salad and orcchietti with Tuscan fennel sausage. Each dish was unique and had a perfect balance of flavors. It was truly a delightful experience. We also loved the Thistly Cross Scottish cider. We highly recommend this place, and suggest making a reservation in advance as it can get busy.
Incredible experience! I enjoyed the fresh mussels in a creamy wine and garlic sauce, followed by the crispy duck salad and crumble cake for dessert. The service was friendly, attentive, and charming. This restaurant offers some of the best food I have ever tasted, and I have traveled extensively. I highly recommend dining here if you are in Dornoch. Absolutely delicious.
The prices were greatly increased from those on the website so it was very expensive. About £50 per person. My food wasn't well cooked as I'd asked so I had to send it back.
This was a fantastic dinning experience all was amazing even down to the toilet. I would most definitely re-visit
