What Frank K doesn't like about Kings House:
Stopped for lunch. Restaurant was fully booked, which is understandable for a very popular tourist destination. What isn't acceptable though, was the very rude, abrasive way we were dismissed by the staff. HE was very rude when there was no need to be. Won't be back. View all feedback. What CarmLNU likes about Kings House:
Attached to the Kingshouse Hotel, this is a convenient restaurant with ample indoor and outdoor seating. In the winter, they have plastic globes with heaters inside for those wishing to dine outside. The food presentation was great but the taste was a bit bland; I would’ve liked some more flavor. Breakfast was good, as there was a nice spread for those staying at the hotel. View all feedback.

read moreNestled along the scenic West Highland Way, the Kingshouse Hotel's restaurant offers stunning views and ample seating but has recently garnered mixed reviews for its service. Guests report frustration with long wait times and a lack of hospitality, despite the restaurant's inviting decor and decent food, including well-received venison dishes. While some fare is flavorful, others describe it as bland, and a few diners found issues with cleanliness and staff attitude. Overall, while the location and setting are appealing, the restaurant must address service shortcomings to ensure a warm welcome for its visitors.
