While some diners have noted the additional charges for sitting in, the mouthwatering paninis, homemade quiches, and fantastic cakes—many of which cater to dietary restrictions—are highlights. Guests rave about delightful treats like the dairy-free lemon drizzle and rich peanut butter brownies, making it a go-to for both coffee breaks and light lunches. The quirky decor adds personality to the relaxed atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for families and solo travelers alike. It's a must-visit for any food lover.
We visited the cafe for the second time and it was just as amazing as the first visit. We messaged them on Facebook beforehand and received a prompt response. The cafe was only open for takeaway, so the tables in the tea room were removed, creating a spacious area to move around in. They had a variety of food options available for mid-morning on a Tuesday, including a delicious selection of cakes. They even had gluten free cake options in addition to their regular cakes. We tried four different cakes and each one was absolutely delicious!
Yesterday, we enjoyed a delicious homemade lunch at this restaurant, consisting of filled rolls and a burger. The food was so fresh and the service was very attentive. The cheese scone we had for dessert was particularly delicious.
We visited this unique restaurant for lunch on Friday afternoon. We ordered paninis, which we believed were £5 each, but there was an additional charge for sitting in that we didn't notice until we paid, as it was in small print on the board. The paninis came without salad or crisps. We also ordered coffee and a tasty cake, but we felt it was overpriced for what we received.
Enjoyed a wee lunch here soup and bread then coffee and cake. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Spoke to two other patrons who were regulars here whenever they were in Grantown. Would definitely recommend if visiting this town.
Myself and my sister enjoyed delicious parsnip and apple soup with bread. We then indulged with Victoria sponge absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff.
