Inverlochy Castle - Highland

I visited for afternoon tea, and it was absolutely delightful!

The atmosphere wasn't very inviting. If the service and staff attitude matched the beautiful venue and stunning location, it could be a fantastic place to visit; unfortunately, they felt worlds apart. The dining experience with the set menu was not enjoyable. It was overly formal and structured, making it difficult to feel relaxed, and the food didn't suit my taste. Given that this was a celebration of 50 years of marriage, it was quite disappointing.

Afternoon tea was disappointing, lacking in savoury food and way to little for your money. The service was at the best average. We had booked vegetarian for x1 and they totally missed this on the booking. Feeling like it need a bit of a shake up, its been the same for the last 20 yrs since I have been visiting.

What a fantastic experience! This entire trip was planned around my birthday by my boyfriend, and the travel agency ensured it would be unforgettable. Inverlochy Castle was the ideal choice. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was outstanding, and the dinner exceeded our expectations. We made dinner reservations for my birthday, and it was a real treat. The staff was exceptional—I can't emphasize that enough—especially Stewart, the night porter. After dinner, some of us stayed up late enjoying drinks and conversation, and Stewart made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He also shared fascinating insights about the castle, the surrounding area, and Scotland as a whole. Please let him know how much we appreciated his efforts in making our night more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at the castle, even if just for a night. We will definitely return when we visit Scotland again. A huge thank you to the entire staff; it truly was an amazing experience!

My friends treated me and the ladies to an afternoon tea for my recent birthday and what a treat. The surrounds are just out of this World, they really are breath-taking and the staff in particular Elinor and Iris were just a delight to us. We spent several hours sipping pink champagne and eating cake. Thank you for the birthday plate and the 'doggy bag ' was certainly welcomed!
