What a fantastic restaurant! There’s something for everyone on the menu, and the views are breathtaking. The staff is excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, which we did through Facebook. While you can walk in, it’s better to secure your spot—this place is too good to miss! View all feedback.
What David Frame doesn't like about Galaxy World Buffet:
Aviemore and Chinese food do definitely not go. Both Chinese takeaways are awful. Perhaps spoilt for choice in Glasgow, however the food out this place isn’t actually edible and is tasteless. Please save your money. This green goop in picture is apparently curry sauce it’s disgusting. View all feedback.

What a disappointment. The temperature of most the food is verging on dangerously low and this obviously makes you think of potential food poisoning and it makes meat quite tough and chewy. The food was okay at best. Almost everything just didn’t taste as you would expect. Everything tastes extremely cheap and nasty. The only positive thing was that we went on a Saturday night and every other place in Aviemore was full, this was the only place we wouldn’t have had at least a 30 minute wait. I guess that this review might give you an idea as to why you could walk in here during peak Saturday service and get a table! Staff were okay, quite smiley young people. Many of the staff wearing tracksuit bottoms which is strange to see but fair enough. Wouldn’t go again and I urge you to wait for a seat in other Aviemore restaurants on busy evenings. On quieter evenings just go to another restaurant.
I have gluten intolerance, and while there were plenty of options on the buffet that were suitable, the staff went the extra mile by cooking my meal separately to ensure it was safe for me. The staff was very helpful, and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend dining here!
The Galaxie is very accommodating. While their menu doesn't offer a wide range of gluten-free options, they do have stickers indicating which items are safe to eat. Be sure to inform them about your celiac condition so they can take precautions to prevent any cross-contamination.
