Visited Saturday 24th February, 24, Food was very well presented and tasted lovely. Interaction between staff and the customer were first class. There was a sporting event on in the next bar which is separate to the restaurant, this works well as this didn't interfere with my overall experience. Overall it was a satisfying visit and we plan to go again.

I would not return to this restaurant. I ordered the roast of the day with gravy on the side, but it arrived covered in gravy. The waitress took it back and the chef transferred the soggy food onto a clean plate with a jug of gravy on the side. As someone who works in the catering industry, I would never treat a customer in this way, regardless of how long it would take to make a fresh meal. I was offered a different dish, but by then my appetite was ruined. The other meals served to my family, including roast dinners and lasagna, were also dry.
The menu offers a variety of options to suit everyone's taste. I highly recommend the mac and cheese, which was a generous portion and served hot with a side salad. My husband enjoyed the Fish and Chips with peas, and the fish was the full length of the plate. The prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this restaurant to our family and friends.
I went to this restaurant for lunch today and had the haggis and cheese toastie followed by the banoffee pie. I should have taken photos but I couldn't wait to dig in. It had been years since I last visited, but I will definitely be coming back sooner next time.
