I have at... read more I've been here several times and had very mixed experiences. The drinks are generally good with various mixed messages about table or counter service. I have attended for a few drinks events which are similarly mixed experiences. The meals are up and down so I wouldn't bother coming for the food - some dishes are good value and taste fine, whereas others are very stingy with bland flavours although cooked fine even if meat tends to be overdone. Nothing I've had or seen here is particularly worth raving about. What killed it for me though was attending a recent drinks event here and to watch staff get drunk attending with friends and devour the entire food setting and hog the whole amount set for the entire event before anyone else could get to it, and then be rude and snotty to other paying customers. While this isn't the venue's fault inherently, I felt it should be noted and the response was very poor. I've never had a venue feel it was OK for staff to get drunk and treat customers this way with them taking priority over customers so I won't be back although I never felt the food was worth coming back for anyway. A shame as it's got a nice beer garden in my local area.

The menu had a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes, and I was particularly impressed with the Italian-inspired dishes. I opted for the lamb ragu, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. T Overall, I highly recommend the Queens Tavern for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience. The Bistro area is particularly well-suited for groups or families, with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The menu choices are great, and the food is consistently high-quality. I will definitely be returning soon!
