This cafe is aimed squarely at families and older people, its off the highway, offers activities and play areas for the kids, shaded and sunny seating areas and the food is very cheap, yet quite tasty. The menu has a selection of 30 odd variants of scones, and about a dozen lunch and breakfast options respectively. It is great value for money and I would certainly recommend it for the target market. It is all level so works well for wheelchair and stroller access alike, and the carpark has plenty of space.

We called in here mid afternoon for a late lunch. Whilst my three companions settled for toasted sandwiches I decided to try the chicken and cashew rissoles with salad. These were delicious and cooked to perfection and the salad different in some aspects to the usual salad fare which contained spicey pickled figs, olives, sliced granny smith apple, avocado and olives along with the lettuce leaves, tomato and cucumber.The cafe is set in extensive grounds with a peacock and pea hens wandering around, a good selection of handcrafts, jewellery and beading supplies to purchase. This is a child friendly place with an abundance of toys for them to play with in the grounds, including a sandpit.

Never miss popping in here! Love the coffee shop on site and the relaxing garden to sit and enjoy a bite to eat. As a jewellery maker I find the supplies of beads, gemstones etc amazing - could shop for hours in this store! love the project ideas and the fact that staff are happy to share their knowledge and ideas - and yes, they will allow you to take a photo of something if you fancy making something similar - great place to call in!

I've been driving past this pleasant surprise for many years thinking I should stop in there,well today we did!!!! And what a lovely place,the coffee & cake was great,huge assortment of home made delicious cakes,biscuits & other treats,the meals looked really good too.Lots of different things to look at & buy,including furniture,cloths,accessories & the biggest bead/craft shop I've ever seen.Great area for children to play with a sandpit,huge grassed area with little bikes to ride. There's even Guinea fowl wandering around the gardens and a bird Avery. Definitely worth a call in,It's now my stop off for coffee & cake too & from the Sunny Coast.

Spent a couple of hours here as kids happily played in a beautiful playground/obstacle course/cubby house. Us adults enjoyed browsing in shop and having a really good coffee. Very lovely spot in Highfields!
