Arooje Restaurant (Not takeaway). Attended this restaurant recently after a gap of a several years. Not a patch on the old Arooje Restaurant. The interior had changed and where once was a pleasant area for diners, half the floor area seemed to have been sealed off as a store so the interior atmosphere seemed more like a shabby greasy cafe than a tastefully decorated Indian restaurant. The food was average and the 4 course offer was £12.95 which was reasonable but the portion sizes appeared to have shrunk. There's no alcohol or drinks on draft anymore so soft drinks and cans of pop are offered. It was a shock to learn that a can of pop came to £3. All in all very disappointed as Arooja was once a really nice, good value local Indian restaurant.

Absolutely shocking experience. Delivery came wrong. After calling the restaurant we were met with a rude unhelpful response. We had to drive the food back our selves to get a refund. I would avoid at all costs Service: Delivery Meal type: Other Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
