Sweet Josephine's - High Point

Sweet Josephine’s did my friend’s baby shower cake, and it was beyond my wildest expectations. Not only was it aesthetically perfect, but some of the best cake I have had in a while. Nothing like the plastic Walmart flavor. A bit more dense, really rich and lovely. We had two flavors, cinnamon roll and double chocolate. They were both divine and the guests were raving. You can tell they make their cakes with love. We will be back!

When one is working on a small budget and God connects you to the perfect bakery, Sweet Josephine's Gourmet Bakery. Camerin was a jewel to work with. She created my son and fiance's dream engagement cake through corresponding by email. I sent her a picture, details of their ideal engagement cake and a budget price. She took the look of the cake to a level made for a King and Queen. She stayed within our budget, but put love in every detail of their cake. She emailed me in such a timely manner, you felt you were her only client. I have never been in Sweet Josephine's Gourmet Bakery. We met the staff at The Carolina Wedding Show. The quality of cake they gave there, was the same quality taste we received with our Engagement Cake. Upon my son and his fiance picking up the cake the staff was friendly, engaging in the photos taken for memories and excited about their event. This bakery is about 45 minutes to a hour from where we live. I would drive there with a smile on my face to use their service again. Thanks for such a spirit of excellence.

We are still getting comments about how amazing our wedding cake was. Sweet Josephine's is truly phenomenal. They made the groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner as well as our wedding cake. They have such a wide variety of cakes and they are all so amazing. They have some deliciously unique flavors and equally amazing classics. You can't go wrong. Their customer service is astounding and they can work with any budget. At our wedding we had their tres leches, plain jane with caramel filling, and half baked cakes. We saved our top tier which was their lemon wedding cake with raspberry preserves and can't wait to enjoy it on our 1 year anniversary!

I have been a patron since they opened in their original location nearly 4 years ago. Since their move to their new location on N. Main St., I enjoy this bakery even more! The new location has better parking and is easier to access! The products are made from quality ingredients and their flavor combinations are complex, creative and flavorful! They also have theme weeks during certain times of the year with special offerings and decorations....fun! The first cupcake I ever had was the Breakfast in Bed; a blueberry cupcake with bacon. I never would have chosen this but someone brought me one and I couldn't believe it! It was as if I were eating a stack of blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Their chocolate cupcakes are particularly moist and delicious. Their custom cakes are unique and designed with the customer's input. This is just a great bakery! Given the ingredients and the work that goes into their cakes, the prices are very reasonable. I recently moved and really miss being able to patronize this shop.If you're in the High Point area and you want a unique cake with quality ingredients and tasteful, beautiful design, then go to Sweet Josephine's!

The team at Sweet Josephine’s totally nailed my daughter’s vision for her 16th birthday cake. Not only did they create a beautiful cake, they did it at the very last minute. The flavor was amazing and everyone raved about it. I will definitely use them again in the future.
