I'm addicted to this place. I love their food. My favorite is the Malinesa con arroz with refried beans and a salad. My favorite platter by far. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wouldn't trade this place for another. View all feedback.
What Hope Johnson doesn't like about Mi Taqueria:
I called in a order for a steak and shrimp burrito and I specified what I wanted. When I got there, I told the lady that the price was too low for what I ordered and I repeated my order to her. We were looking for authentic Mexican food and stumbled upon Mi Taqueria on Green Drive. Finding parking was a bit of a challenge – the spots in front are tight, while there's a much easier lot on the side. Inside, the atmosphere had a rustic charm, but it felt a little dated. The single waitress, who also handled cashier duties, was incredibly patient. Despite only two other tables, she seemed a bit busy. There are no fountain drinks, only cans or bottles. However, the star of the show was definitely the food! It was delicious and authentic. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and happily explained unfamiliar dishes. While the neighborhood felt a little sketchy, for a fantastic and authentic meal, Mi Taqueria is worth a visit. However, lunchtime might be a better option than dinner.
